Information about 2017 – 2018 School year.

This year, after-school elective classes are offered at:

Inland Leaders Charter School (ILCS):

         California Street Campus (Wednesday).

         Bryant Street Campus (Thursday):

        Competitive Edge Charter Academy (CECA; Friday).

In addition, for all residents of the Inland Empire, YCS offers weekend classes at our main campus at ILCS.

Saturday Morning: 9:00 a.m. – 10:50 a.m. (Beginning and Intermediate)

Saturday Morning Elective (Calligraphy): 11:00 – 11:50 a.m. 


The primary campus of the Yucai Chinese School (YCS) is located at the California Street Campus of the Inland Leaders Charter School (ILCSin Yucaipa (12375 California Street, Yucaipa, CA 92399).

Besides our Saturday beginning and intermediate Mandarin classes, we still offer an Advance Placement class on Sunday morning from 9:00 to 11:50 a.m., if there are a sufficient number of students interested in taking this class.  Without an appropriate number of students, we still offer private AP classes (please inquire via e-mail or phone (909-213-9776).

All of our teachers are highly educated, bi-lingual, and have been teaching Chinese for many years.

Besides the classes listed above, YCS offers other classes if there is sufficient interest, such as: adult classes in conversational Chinese and Chinese specifically for travelers, diners, etc.  Additionally, Caiyi (enrichment) classes in art and calligraphy are offered from 11:00 a.m. until 11:50 a.m. on Saturday.

 Summer school classes are offered when there is sufficient interest from our attending students.
